Rabbit Hill Park is a Carbon Negative Site

We are thrilled to announce Rabbit Hill Park is a Carbon Negative business. We recently had the pleasure of working with Mark Thwaite from www.carbonnow.co.uk during a recent carbon footprint mapping audit

Rabbit Hill Park is the home of rural entrepreneurs, a business park housed across a range of high-quality industrial warehouses and offices. Situated on beautiful ex-farmland, positioned between Harrogate and York, the Park boasts an on-site café and extensive car parking facilities, including several electric car charging points. Additional services include high speed broadband, and lots of solar panels generating much of the Park’s electricity!

The team at Rabbit Hill Park has long been concerned with their carbon emissions, and approached CarbonNow to audit their carbon emissions, so that they could benchmark their emissions. Rabbit Hill Park have a higher carbon offsetting than carbon emissions, meaning Rabbit Hill Park is carbon negative.

We believe it is important to measure our carbon emissions. Carbon footprint mapping has been a very useful exercise to develop and improve our carbon reduction strategy as we are committed to carbon neutrality.
Rabbit Hill Park has invested in sources which contribute to offsetting carbon such as solar generation carbon and sequestration through extensive planting of trees and hedges. Indeed, solar generation has been so successful at the site, that Rabbit Hill Park, as a business, is actually emission negative.
